Ο Νίκος προέρχεται από ναυτική οικογένεια. Ο εκλιπών πατέρας του, Κώστας Ζαρταλούδης, ήταν Πλοίαρχος του Εμπορικού Ναυτικού και καταγόταν από τη Βολισσό της Χίου.
Η μητέρα του Νίκου, Μαρίνα Ζαρταλούδη, υπήρξε ιδιαιτέρα γραμματέας της Αμαλίας Φλέμινγκ, αλλά μόλις απέκτησε το πρώτο της παιδί, αφιερώθηκε στην οικογένειά της και στην ανατροφή των παιδιών.Κατάγεται από τη Σμύρνη της Μ. Ασίας.
Ο Σωτήρης είναι ο μεγάλος αδερφός του Νίκου. Με τη γυναίκα του Εύη έχουν δημιουργήσει τη δική τους οικογένεια που τη συμπληρώνουν ο Κωνσταντίνος (7 ετών) και η Μάρω (4 ετών).
Η καταγωγή της Αθηνάς είναι πολύ εύκολο να προσδιοριστεί με τη πρώτη μπουκιά φαγητό που θα τσιμπήσετε. Γεύσεις όπως κανέλα, πιπέρι, μοσχοκάρυδο, ζάταρ, κ.α. συνθέτουν δύο πολιτισμούς, δύο κουζίνες, τη Πολίτικη και τη Λιβανέζικη. Ο εκλιπών πατέρας της, Μιχάλης Γεωργιάδης, ήταν ωρολογοποιός/χρυσοχόος, ένας τεχνίτης με κινητικά προβλήματα που στη ζωή του όμως δεν άφησε να τον επηρεάσουν.
Η μητέρα της Αθηνάς, Χρυσάνθη Σαρκίς, υπήρξε νοσηλεύτρια. Ήρθε από τη Βυρητό για διακοπές στην Ελλάδα, και λόγω του πολέμου στο Λίβανο έμεινε στην Ελλάδα, τη δεύτερη πατρίδα της.
Περισσότερα στοιχεία δε χρειάζονται για τις δύο οικογένειες, μια και το να τους ανακαλύπτεις είναι και το ομορφότερο χαρακτηριστικό τους!

Nikos comes from a naval family. His late father, Kostas Zartaloudis, was Captain of the Commercial Navy and he came from Volissos, Chios. An island globally known for its naval tradition.
Nikos’ mother, Marina Zartaloudis, was office assistant of Amalia Fleming (famous Greek doctor and Parliament Representative), but as soon as her first child was born, she quit her job and devoted to her family and the breeding of her sons. Her origins are from Smyrna, Asia Minor.
Nikos’s older brother is Sotiris. He is married with Evi and they have a beautiful family with two children, Konstantinos (7 yrs) and Maro (4yrs)
It is very easy to understand the origins of Athina. You need just a bite from the food she has cooked! The taste of cinnamon, pepper, nutmeg, za’atar, etc compose two different civilizations, two cuisines; the one from Constantinople and the other from Lebanon. Her late father, Michalis Georgiadis, was watchmaker/goldsmith, a craftsman that has kinetic problems, problems that he has never let them affect negatively his life. His origins were from Constantinople.
Athina’s mother, Chrysanthi Sarkis, was a nurse. She came from Beirut for summer vacations and due to the war that occurred in the 70s she stayed in Greece, her second country.
You will not read more facts about these two families, since discovering them is one of their most charming characteristic!
